London Special Cocktail

London Special Cocktail

Put rind of 1/2 an Orange into 6 oz. Champagne glass.⠀

Add:⠀
1 Lump of Sugar⠀
2 Dashes Bitters⠀

Fill with Champagne, well chilled and stir gently.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀

Thought I would post this interesting drink for everybody stuck inside from the snow.⠀
I suggest opening a bottle of Champagne and making this special cocktail.⠀
The bitters is what is really nice in this cocktail.⠀
It gives the Champagne a little more depth.⠀
It was delicious and would pair nicely with any food.⠀
Hope everybody stays safe during all the storms.⠀
Why not enjoy some London Special cocktails at home!⠀
Cheers!⠀⠀

Jack Rabbit Cocktail

Jack Rabbit Cocktail

Jack Rabbit Cocktail⠀ ⠀
3/4 oz. Gin @farmersgin
3/4 oz. French Vermouth⠀
1/4 oz. Apricot Nectar Liqueur⠀
1/4 oz. Triple Sec @cointreau

Shake well with cracked Ice and strain in to 3 oz. Cocktail Glass.⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀

This gin cocktail was surprisingly good.⠀ The apricot liqueur was a little worrisome but it actually added a hint of spring to the cocktail that otherwise would’ve been dry.⠀ It paired nicely with the orange in the triple sec.⠀ This is a must when Easter comes around.⠀ Farmer’s Gin is a great option for this cocktail as well.⠀ It definitely helps bring all of the floral and fruity tastes together.⠀ If you can’t get your hands on the Apricot Liqueur, Apricot Brandy would definitely work as well.⠀ It will make the drink a bit more boozy but the nice Apricot flavor will still come across.⠀ Cheers!⠀ ⠀⠀
