This was a very different spin on a gin cocktail.
Since the Dubonnet is a wine based apertif with herbs and spices I thought it would pair nicely with a spicy gin like Pickering’s Gin.
This was a surprising cocktail because it ended up tasting like Port wine.
A very dangerous, light and spicy Port wine.
Highly recommend as a party cocktail in the fall!
How to Make It
3/4 oz. Gin (@pickeringsgin)
3/4 oz. Dubonnet
3/4 oz. French Vermouth
Stir well with cracked ice and strain into 3 oz. Cocktail glass.
