Los Angeles Cocktail

I braved my very first egg cocktail.⠀
And like my first year in Los Angeles, it didn’t really wow me.⠀
I’m not sure what happened but there wasn’t much flavor in this cocktail.⠀
I was really nervous about the raw egg, but wasn’t the problem.⠀
The egg provided a nice creamy consistency…but the cocktail itself still just tasted watered down.⠀
Initial disappointment hasn’t completely deterred me from egg cocktails, but I do hope the next ones taste better.⠀

How to Make It

Juice of 1/2 Lemon⠀
1 Tsp Powdered Sugar⠀
1 Egg⠀
1/4 Tsp Italian Vermouth⠀
1 1/2 oz. Bourbon Whiskey or Rye @bulleit

Shake well with cracked Ice and strain into 4 oz. Cocktail glass.⠀
